Woman Rescued After Hotel Collapse in Villa Gesell

In Villa Gesell, a woman was rescued from the rubble resulting from the collapse of the Dubrovnik hotel, which fell due to the construction of an unauthorized project by the municipality. Authorities released videos showing the moment when the woman was saved after more than 10 hours of intense rescue efforts, as it is estimated that between seven and eleven people remain trapped, and one person died in the disaster.

In a race against time operation, firefighters and rescue personnel managed to rescue the woman, who was airlifted to Mar del Plata. Miguel Muñoz, the health secretary of Villa Gesell, reported that the woman is in good health, understanding and following commands, with an optimal neurological state despite presenting bruises and several injuries. Tests were conducted to assess her overall health.

Intense searches are underway for the former owner of the hotel, Rosa, who inherited the establishment and recently sold it, but still attended the place. It is suspected that her nephew Nahuel, along with a friend, may be trapped. A witness recounted witnessing the collapse: "We went fishing and when we returned, I felt a tremor and when I went outside, I turned around and the building was no longer there."
